Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a seasoned logistics operations leader to drive execution of daily activities, oversee husbandry operations, and uphold health and safety standards across Indonesian sites. You will review reports, conduct monthly performance evaluations, and work with the Branch Manager to meet targets and ensure compliant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years in shipping ops including 2 years in a leadership position, plus strong collaboration with Finance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of shipping operations experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of operational processes, procedures and compliance.
• Proven leadership, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze operational performance and prepare technical evaluations/reports.
• Willing to be placed anywhere in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of operational activities in line with targets and plans.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational (husbandry) activities.
• Maintain and enforce health and safety standards for operations personnel.
• Review and analyze operational reports for technical evaluations.
• Carry out monthly performance reviews against prior month’s results.
• Address and resolve technical issues per established procedures.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with Finance for funding and monitoring revenues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support revenue growth.
• Ensure service quality meets customer expectations and standards.
• Ensure compliance with government laws; coordinate with port authorities.
