Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a capable port operations professional to coordinate berthing, cargo handling, and vessel movements with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will prepare operational reports, liaise with customers and port stakeholders, and ensure compliance with procedures and regulations while maintaining service quality.

A Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years in stevedoring or logistics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1), any major.
• 1-2 years of experience in stevedoring, port operations, shipping, or logistics.
• Understanding of cargo handling and vessel operations.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Familiar with port operational documentation and reporting.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor vessel berthing, loading, and unloading operations to ensure activities are carried out safely and efficiently
• Prepare operational reports and maintain documentation related to vessel and cargo handling activities
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, port stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of port operations
• Monitor operational progress and promptly resolve issues to minimize delays and maintain service quality
• Ensure all operational activities comply with company procedures and applicable port regulations
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements
