Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a proactive logistics professional to coordinate daily operations, supervise warehouse activities, and analyze performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2–3 years in logistics, and prior leadership experience. You will work in our Indonesia operations, focusing on safety, IMS compliance, and secure information handling.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in logistics, warehousing, fleet/transportation, or supply chain.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations including shipping, storage, and cargo distribution.
• Supervise warehouse activities: receiving, storage, sorting, and picking.
• Analyze performance of logistics operations and propose efficiency, cost-reduction, and service improvements.
• Ensure implementation of an Integrated Management System and risk controls.
• Promote adherence to IMS requirements across the team.
• Participate in investigations of accidents or unsafe actions with precise reporting.
• Contribute to information security and protection of company information assets.

Main Responsibilities

1. Coordinate day to day logistic operations, including shipping, storage, also cargo distribution.

2. Supervise warehouse operations, including cargo receiving, storing, sorting, and picking.

3. Analyze the performance of logistics operations and create strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service to customers.

General Responsibilities

1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.

2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.

3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.

4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1), preferably majoring in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in the logistics industry, warehousing, fleet/transportation management, or supply chain operations.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role (such as Logistics Coordinator, Team Leader, or Senior Logistics Staff) is highly preferred.
