Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a proactive Logistics Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day operations, oversee warehouse activities, and improve service quality across the supply chain.

You will implement the Integrated Management System requirements, lead a small team, and help drive efficiency, cost control, and safe, compliant operations in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, industrial engineering, operations management, business administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in logistics, warehousing, fleet/transportation management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role (team leader, logistics coordinator) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations, including shipping, storage, and cargo distribution.
• Supervise warehouse operations: cargo receiving, storing, sorting, and picking.
• Analyze logistics performance and develop strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
• Support the Integrated Management System by identifying, documenting, and controlling risks in the department.

Main Responsibilities

3. Analyze the performance of logistics operations and create strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service to customers.

General Responsibilities

1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department’s work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably majoring in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in the logistics industry, warehousing, fleet/transportation management, or supply chain operations.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role (such as Logistics Coordinator, Team Leader, or Senior Logistics Staff) is highly preferred.
