Job summary

PT NNR RPX Global Logistics Indonesia, a leading International Freight Forwarding and logistics solutions provider in Surabaya, seeks a Full-time Sales Assistant Manager. You will drive sales growth, manage a regional team, and expand the customer portfolio through strategic planning and hands-on leadership.

Based at our Surabaya Branch Office, you will collaborate with Branch Managers, oversee pipelines, and report performance to Management while negotiating key contracts and ensuring service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as sales or business development in International Freight Forwarding industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Well knowledge of International Freight Forwarding and Incoterms is mandatory
• Proven good sales track record of consistently achieve sales targets
• Excellent communication, presentation skills, keen to meet diversity people and good personality
• Aggressively to approach customers to gain medium and big business target
• Ability to operate computer and accurate detail for calculating profitable business
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal in good business manner

Responsibilities

• Assist & Coordinate with Branch Managers to develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve branch sales targets and expand business opportunities.
• Work closely with Branch Managers to identify business opportunities, address sales challenges, and develop effective solutions to improve branch performance.
• Review and monitor branch sales activities, sales pipelines, customer portfolios, and business development progress to ensure alignment with the company's overall sales strategy.
• Lead, supervise, and evaluate the Sales Team's performance, providing guidance and coaching to improve individual capabilities and team productivity.
• Prospecting, qualifying and closing new business opportunities to achieve sales target
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business
• Aggressively promote company's services of International Freight Forwarding and Warehousing
• Collaborate with Overseas networking for business expansion
• Identifying and pursuing new business leads through company database and market research
• Ensure seamless delivery of services to customers by good cooperation with Operation Division
• Providing regular sales and performance reports to the Management
• Negotiate contract terms to secure the business and collaborate with finance for the payment
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales prospects.
• Proactively discuss with stakeholders to fulfil client demand.
• Support Branch Managers in handling key customer relationships, major business negotiations, and escalated sales-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction and business continuity.
