Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience, preferably as a Branch Manager in international freight forwarding.
• Strong leadership to manage and develop a team.
• Knowledge of International Freight Forwarding and Incoterms is mandatory.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and adaptability with diverse people.
• Proactive in approaching customers to secure medium and large business opportunities.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken for business communication.

Join our team as a Full-time Branch Manager at PT NNR RPX Global Logistics Indonesia, a leading provider of international freight forwarding and logistics solutions. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and overall branch operations at our Surabaya Branch Office.

What you'll be doing

Driving the branch to achieve sales revenue and profit targets

Lead and manage the Operations Division to ensure excellent service quality for Export/Import of Air Freight and Ocean Freight, including Inland and Domestic business.

Review the branch’s performance, business trends, and economic issues to ensure the branch can meet market demand.

Analyse operating costs and non-operating expenses to ensure the company’s financial health.

Assurance of proper finance and accounting transaction

Creating budget forecasts and develop strategies planning for their implementation.

Mentor the Sales, Operations, and Admin teams to improve their knowledge and skills.

Manage pricing and vendors effectively, and establish good relationships with airlines, shipping lines, vendors, and co-loaders to secure business opportunities.

Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address any issues within the branch.

Ensure strict adherence to company regulations, compliance policies, government regulations, and safety standards.

Controlling risks to avoid delays, sanctions, claims, or penalties.

Securing high-value local accounts and overseas sales leads to ensure sustainable business growth.

Upholding ethical standards and professional behaviour to create a comfortable and pleasant working environment.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Managerial, preferably as a Branch Manager in International Freight Forwarding industry

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

Well knowledge of International Freight Forwarding and Incoterms is mandatory

Proven good sales track record of consistently achieve sales targets

Excellent communication, presentation skills, keen to meet diversity people and good personality

Aggressively to approach customers to gain medium and big business target

Ability to operate computer and accurate detail for calculating profitable business

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal in good business manner
