Job summary

PT NNR RPX Global Logistics Indonesia seeks a full-time Branch Manager in Surabaya to lead the local team and drive branch performance in international freight forwarding. You will oversee sales, operations, finance, and admin, optimize pricing and vendor relationships, ensure compliance, and mentor staff to deliver excellent service for air, ocean, and inland logistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience, preferably as a Branch Manager in international freight forwarding.
• Strong leadership to manage and develop a team.
• Knowledge of International Freight Forwarding and Incoterms is mandatory.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and adaptability with diverse people.
• Proactive in approaching customers to secure medium and large business opportunities.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken for business communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch to achieve sales revenue and profit targets.
• Lead Operations to ensure service quality for export/import by air and ocean.
• Review branch performance, market trends and demand to meet market needs.
• Analyze operating and non-operating costs to safeguard finances.
• Ensure proper finance and accounting transactions.
• Create budget forecasts and strategic plans for implementation.
• Mentor the Sales, Operations, and Admin teams.
• Manage pricing and vendor relationships, including airlines and shippers.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking to address branch issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Control risks to avoid delays, sanctions, claims, or penalties.
• Secure high-value local accounts and overseas sales leads.
