Job summary

Fr. Meyer’s Sohn is looking for an energetic, independent Sales & Account Manager to join our team in Surabaya. You will explore new customer base, manage key accounts, forecast sales, and coordinate with overseas networks to arrange shipments efficiently.

Your experience in international freight forwarding, strong English, and a team-oriented mindset will help you identify customer needs and convert opportunities into profitable business. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in International Freight Forwarding or Shipping line focusing on high volume accounts.
• Good command in English both writing and speaking; Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Sales oriented and a team player.
• Pleasant personality and good communication skills.
• High curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Exploration of new customer base & key account management
• Accountable for monthly/quarterly and yearly sales forecast
• Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
• Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns
• Make regular sales call or visiting for new potential account or existing account
• Excellent communication with overseas networks, customers, sales/operation division and carrier to arrange shipments with careful consideration for buying and selling cost for profitable biz
