Atlas Copco Indonesia is seeking a Sales Engineer in Jakarta to drive growth in the motor vehicle sector. The role focuses on engaging customers, understanding needs, and delivering tailored technical solutions to meet business objectives.

You will nurture relationships, generate leads, and present proposals and quotations while coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role.
• Strong technical aptitude to explain complex products and solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

About the role

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and growth strategies in the Jakarta region. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers
• Identifying new sales opportunities and generating leads through proactive outreach and networking
• Assessing customer requirements and providing expert technical advice and recommendations on Atlas Copco's products and services
• Preparing detailed proposals and quotations, and effectively communicating the value proposition to customers
• Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
• Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the industry

What we are looking for
