Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking a Sales Eng Direct Business Industrial OEM to drive sales objectives with major Direct Business customers. You will provide technical support, forecast planning, and collaboration with regional and German headquarters.

The role requires 3+ years as a sales engineer, fluent English, and a mechanical or electrical engineering degree. Travel within the region and technical seminars are part of the role.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years as a sales engineer.

• Implement sales objectives and strategies for Industrial OEM customers within the region.
• Provide technical support and services to direct business customers.

• Expand Schaeffler's sales in Indonesia's Direct Business and MRO customers.
• Travel within defined region.
• Analyze market situations and compile management reports.
• Provide engineering support to regional offices and end-users.
• Conduct product presentations and training seminars.
• Liaise with SEA regional office and German headquarters on technical matters.
• Assist in organizing technical seminars.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Implement sales objectives and strategies for assigned customers within defined region for Industrial OEM.
• Establish contacts with major Direct Business customers in assigned sectors and giving these customers technical support and services.
• Prepare and submit product forecast planning, project developments and feedback to relevant department.
• Penetrate, develop and increase Schaeffler's sales in MRO Direct customers overall Indonesia
• Travelling within defined region.
• Analyze market situation for Direct Business sector, create the compilation report to managers.
• Report timely marketing information and competitors’ information to managers.
• Assist organizing technical seminar by technical experts.
• Expand market share with new Direct Customers.
• Provide quality after-sales service to customers.
• Ensure meeting annual sales target
• Monitoring Forecast Planning Management for accuracy of stock and production of parts.
• Provide engineering support to regional offices, Industrial OEMs and end-users.
• Advice major end-users on bearing application related problems.
• Conduct product presentations and practical training seminars.
• Investigate bearing demands in specific industries.
• Liaise with South East Asia regional office and German headquarters on technical matters.

• Demand Suite, Planning 360 for forecast planning monthly updated
• To support initiatives like Fit for Quality, MOVE, internal and external audits.

Your Qualifications

• Experience as sales engineer for a minimum of 3 years.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and communication skills
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
• Strategic mindset & structured approach of tasks
• Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external parties
• Cooperative working attitude but with strong target orientation
• Knowledge of the Schaeffler Group
• Having leadership skills
• Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
