Job summary

Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH in Jakarta area seeks a Sales Engineer responsible for promoting mechanical accessories, supporting regional team, and expanding local business in power transmission and distribution.

The role requires Indonesian citizenship, a bachelor in electrical or mechanical engineering, 2 years sales experience in transformer services or HV switchgear, strong communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and willingness to travel locally and overseas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years sales experience in power transmission and distribution transformer service and/or HV switchgear, transformers, or related equipment.
• Willing to travel frequently locally and overseas; strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Promote mechanical accessories via active customer visits and support with regional team.
• Develop component business opportunities within industrial and utility power sectors; cultivate business with local transformer manufacturers and retrofit clients.
• Expand local customer relations through prospecting and regular customer visits to build strong relationships.
• Present product and service information and carry out trainings for customers, agents, and co-workers.
• Provide support for quotations, including project and quotation tracking via follow-up.
• Monitor complaint management in designated areas.
• Generate regular reports (visit reports, market & customer information, forecasts).
• Maintain close cooperation with MR international sales, other MR subsidiaries and agents.

What awaits you

• You are responsible for the promotion of mechanical accessories through active customer visits and customer support in cooperation with the regional team and headquarter.
• You are accountable to develop the company's Component business opportunities within the industrial and utility power sector, cultivate business with local transformer manufacturers for new business and, local end-users for retrofit business.
• You secure and expand the local customer relations and business activities through prospecting and networking by execute regular customer visits to build up strong customer relationships.
• You also required to present product and service information and carry out trainings for customers, agents and other co-workers
• You are expected to provide support for the preparation of quotations, including project and quotation tracking via constant follow-up
• You must monitor complaint management in the designated areas
• You need to generate regular reports (e.g. visit reports, market & customer information, forecast)
• You must maintain close cooperation with the MR international sales, other MR subsidiaries and agents

What you bring to the table

• You are an Indonesian citizen
• You must have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2 years sales experience in the power transmission and distribution transformer service and maintenance field and/or HV switchgear, Power transformers or other key substations equipment. Fresh graduates who passionate about sales is encouraged to apply.
• You must be a self-starter, motivated, strong drive to achieve sales target, knows how to work effectively with customers, agents and co-workers
• You must be good in numerical understanding, accuracy & integrity
• You must be able to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently, be flexible, able to meet tight deadlines, and willing to travel frequently both locally and overseas.
• Strong presentation skills, good command of written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Computer Skills: MS Office, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
