About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our sales team in the Medan Area, North Sumatra. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships in a key market. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in selling our home appliances and consumer electronics products. You will be at the forefront of our business, directly contributing to Midea Electronics Indonesia's market expansion and revenue targets in the North Sumatra region.

What you'll be doing

Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales data, and pipeline information

Preparing sales proposals, quotations, and formal documentation to support the sales process

Collaborating with internal teams including marketing, product, and operations to ensure customer needs are met effectively

Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product promotion and sales growth

Achieving or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs

Attending industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to represent Midea Electronics Indonesia

What we're looking for

Proven sales experience of at least 3 years, preferably in the consumer electronics, home appliances, or related retail sector

Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and the ability to close deals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence customers at all levels

Self-motivated, target-driven individual with a competitive spirit and determination to succeed

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities

Proficiency Microsoft Office applications, and other sales tools

Fluency in Indonesian and English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus

Knowledge of the Medan Area market and established customer networks is highly desirable

A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the region as required

Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to representing the Midea brand professionally
