JAC Recruitment International is seeking a Restaurant Operations - Japanese Speaker to supervise stores in Indonesia, lead teams, manage inventory and costs, and ensure customer service excellence. The role includes staff training, cross-language communication, and supporting establishment activities.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese (JLPT N3), hold a bachelor’s degree, and have F&B or retail experience with leadership capabilities. A 3-month training in Japan is required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to manage full-cycle restaurant operations including frontline service and kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated leadership with a track record of managing a team.
• Willingness to participate in a 3-month training programme in Japan.

Responsabilités

• Operate and supervise restaurant stores in Indonesia, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The Restaurant Operations - Japanese Speaker role is responsible for supporting restaurant operations in Indonesia, including store supervision, team management, inventory, sales, cost control, and customer service. The position also supports business establishment activities, staff training, and communication between Japanese-speaking and Indonesian-speaking or English-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise restaurant stores in Indonesia, ensuring smooth daily operations

• Manage and lead restaurant staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and fostering a positive working environment

• Oversee inventory and purchasing to maintain adequate stock levels and support effective cost control

• Plan and manage sales and costs, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), profitability, and operational performance

• Communicate with customers, respond to enquiries, and resolve complaints professionally

• Ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene requirements in accordance with company standards and health regulations

• Support company establishment activities, including documentation and administrative coordination

• Train Indonesian-speaking staff in operational standards and Japanese service expectations

• Provide interpretation and translation support across Japanese, Indonesian, and English as required

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in Japanese, both verbally and in writing, with a minimum proficiency equivalent to Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3

• Bachelor’s degree in any field

• Experience in the retail industry, particularly food and beverage (F&B) retail, is highly preferred

• Willingness to manage full-cycle restaurant operations, including frontline service and kitchen operations

• Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing a team

• Willingness to participate in a 3-month training programme in Japan covering operational standards, customer service, and store management procedures
