Job summary

PT Kapal Api Global is seeking a Coffee Research and Development Specialist to turn ideas into exceptional coffee products. From concept through laboratory and production trials, you will drive formulation and testing to ensure premium quality and consistency.

You will lead sensory evaluation, collaborate with cross-functional teams for trials, scale-up, and commercialization, and help ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Research and Development preferably in coffee product development.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in coffee evaluation, including blending, cupping, sensory assessment, and raw material evaluation.
• Knowledge of food regulations, BPOM registration, packaging compliance, and export requirements.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
