Job summary

Indesso is seeking an experienced R&D chemist to lead technical validation of new product development and optimize strategic formulations. You will mentor laboratory teams and ensure that innovations integrate smoothly into large-scale production while meeting regulatory standards.

The role requires a chemistry degree and at least 5 years in R&D, with strong expertise in organic formulation, technical feasibility studies, and ERP SAP proficiency. Pasuruan, East Java placement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry with strong academic record.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Research & Development.
• Expertise in organic chemical product formulation.
• Experience with technical feasibility studies and modern lab equipment.
• Experience managing NPD projects and ERP systems in R&D.

Job description

Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee the technical validation of complex new product development
• Optimize the formulations of existing products of strategic importance
• Provide technical guidance (mentoring) in the laboratory to ensure that the integration of innovations into large-scale production processes proceeds successfully, stably, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations

Requirements :

• Degree from Chemistry
• Min. 5 years experience in Research & Development
• Have in-depth expertise in organic chemical product formulation
• advanced technical feasibility studies, operation of modern laboratory equipment (such as GC-MS, HPLC, or laboratory-scale reactors), research risk management, new product development (NPD) project management, and proficiency in operating the R&D/PP modules within an ERP system (SAP).
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination and mentoring
