Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of R&D experience in the food/beverage/supplement sector.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BPOM, Halal and ISO 22000.
• Familiarity with sensory testing methods.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new formulations and improve taste, texture, stability, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct bench trials for powder-based and ready-to-consume products.
• Prepare samples for internal evaluation and organoleptic testing.
• Perform stability tests: pH, color, aroma, solubility, viscosity, shelf-life.
• Select raw materials for formulation needs (flavors, sweeteners, stabilizers, colorants).
• Coordinate with suppliers on samples and technical data.
• Create formulation documents, material specs and SOPs for production.
• Support production scale-up trials and advise from results.
• Ensure formulations comply with BPOM, Halal and food safety regs.
• Research market trends, competitors, and new ingredient innovations.

• Select suitable raw materials (flavors, sweeteners, stabilizers, colorants, functional ingredients) for formulation needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding raw material samples and technical data.
• Create formulation documents, raw material specifications, and standard procedures for production.
• Support production scale-up trials and provide recommendations based on trial outcomes.
• Ensure all formulations comply with BPOM, Halal, and food safety regulations.
• Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and new ingredient innovations.
