Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help generate and qualify enterprise opportunities. You will prospect, nurture inbound leads, and set qualified meetings for Account Executives while leveraging our SaaS tools and CRM to maintain accurate data.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on cybersecurity and cloud solutions, with English communication required and a path to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Sales/Business Development or Telemarketing.
• Prior experience in Cybersecurity or Cloud computing.
• Proficient at gathering business needs and pre-qualifying opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business opportunities via outbound initiatives.
• Qualify, nurture and develop inbound leads on target accounts.
• Generate sales-ready meetings for Account Executives.
• Research contacts and generate demand through calls and emails.
• Develop lead qualification using phone and chat to meet quotas.
• Maintain CRM and engagement data using our SaaS toolkit.
