Job summary

MatchaTalent is hiring a commercially driven Business Development Executive to drive new business growth across Southeast Asia. The role is remote for candidates based in Jakarta, reporting to senior stakeholders, coordinating with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Pre-Sales to deliver AI-powered SaaS solutions.

You will prospect, qualify leads, present demos, develop proposals, negotiate, and close complex deals of high value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Technology, or related field.
• 2–5+ years in B2B Sales or Business Development for enterprise SaaS or tech.
• Proven experience managing long enterprise sales cycles and USD 100,000+ deals.
• Experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions (HR, CDP, SFA, doc mgmt).
• Fluent English and local language; ability to operate across local and multinational contexts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize enterprise accounts in SEA via outbound/inbound efforts.
• Build relationships with mid-to-senior stakeholders and understand business needs.
• Manage end-to-end B2B sales cycle including prospecting, demos, proposals, negotiation, closing.
• Present AI-powered SaaS and enterprise tech based on client requirements.
• Develop customized sales presentations, proposals, and pitch materials.
• Manage long sales cycles while engaging multiple stakeholders.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate CRM updates.
• Provide visibility on pipeline, deals, forecasts, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Pre-Sales for onboarding.
• Develop long-term relationships with enterprise clients through follow-ups and value creation.
• Monitor market trends and opportunities in enterprise SaaS, AI, and digital tech.
