Job summary

Groove is seeking a diligent Remote Bank Operations Specialist to support daily banking transactions and deliver high-quality customer service from Balikpapan or wherever you operate. The role focuses on accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and proactive issue resolution in a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in banking operations or related roles, attention to detail, and strong communication skills for remote work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree is a plus.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking operations, customer service, or related financial role.
• Familiarity with banking products, services, and operational procedures.
• Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction processing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts and services via multiple channels.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
• Identify and report operational risks or discrepancies to management.
• Assist with account opening and maintenance procedures.
