Job summary

PT MC PET FILM INDONESIA is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure all equipment runs smoothly and lasts longer through effective strategies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years in a BOPET plant or related industries, and demonstrates strong knowledge of plant equipment and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a BOPET plant, or relevant experience in steel rolling mill or paper mill industries.
• Strong knowledge of plant equipment including vacuum blowers, extruders, steel/rubber rolls, hydraulic systems, blowers, pumps, chillers, and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to keep equipment running smoothly and extend lifespan.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure availability to minimize downtime.
• Analyze data to improve reliability and performance of plant equipment.
• Lead a maintenance team and manage project execution.
• Control budgets and ensure safe, compliant operations in line with regulations.

Also, responsible to oversee spare parts inventory, analyze data to improve reliability, lead a team, manage the budget, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Their role is crucial in minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity.

Job Requirement

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a BOPET plant, or relevant experience in steel rolling mill or paper mill industries.

Competency (Skill, Knowledge, and Attitude)

Good knowledge of plant equipment, including vacuum blowers, extruders, steel/rubber rolls, hydraulic systems, blowers, pumps, chillers, and compressors.

Have a strong safety mindset and commitment.

Have a commitment to work, adaptive, and collaborative.

Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
