Job summary

Oriental Sheet Piling, a unit of ArcelorMittal, seeks a full-time on-site Maintenance technician to perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities. The role aims to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation while minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, identifying issues, and following the maintenance plan and SOP. Shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields preferred.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, repair, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment to ensure proper and reliable operation.
• Perform basic inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and components under the direction of the Supervisor.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper equipment operation.
• Identify basic equipment problems, perform appropriate corrective actions, and report equipment abnormalities or issues to the Supervisor.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and other routine maintenance tasks according to the maintenance plan, checklist, and SOP.

Role Description

The role aims to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation of equipment while minimizing equipment downtime and supporting smooth production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine inspection, maintenance, repair, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment to ensure proper and reliable operation.
2. Perform basic inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and components under the direction of the Supervisor.
3. Inspect and perform basic maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper equipment operation.
4. Identify basic equipment problems, perform appropriate corrective actions, and report equipment abnormalities or issues to the Supervisor.
5. Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and other routine maintenance tasks according to the maintenance plan, checklist, and SOP.

General Requirements:

1. Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
2. Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields is preferred.
3. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance is preferred.
4. Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance is an advantage.
5. Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.
