PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia, Tbk seeks a seasoned Process Engineering lead to drive end-to-end manufacturing improvements across processes, systems, and work methods. Lead the development and optimization of end-to-end manufacturing processes, systems, and work methods to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and process reliability.
Develop and maintain process standards, SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans, process matrices, and technical specifications to ensure consistent and controlled operations.
Lead process improvement and engineering projects, including tooling, machine, equipment, and layout development or modification, from proposal and trial through implementation.
Analyze KPI performance, process capability, machine and tooling performance, cycle time, machine speed, material consumption, operator handling, and production flow to identify losses and improvement opportunities.
Lead structured improvement initiatives addressing product/process non-conformities, process instability, potential FMEA risks, productivity losses, and operational inefficiencies.
Apply manufacturing Core Tools, including FMEA, APQP, SPC, and Control Plan, to strengthen process control and prevent potential failures.
Evaluate and validate improvement results through trials, performance analysis, audits, and monitoring, ensuring improvements deliver measurable and sustainable results.
Prepare and review improvement proposals, BAP, engineering reports, KPI achievement reports, budget utilization analysis, and project documentation.
Supervise, coach, and develop Engineering staff and operational personnel, ensuring effective execution, technical capability, and continuous improvement mindset.
Coordinate improvement activities with Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, PPIC, Warehouse, and other related functions to ensure effective implementation and alignment.
Promote 5R, safety, process discipline, and continuous improvement within the work area through regular monitoring and improvement audits.
Requirements
D3/D4/S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in steel pipe, tube manufacturing, metal processing, fabrication, or cutting processes is highly preferred.
Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, process parameters, tooling, equipment, production flow, and process capability.
Strong knowledge of OEE, capacity analysis, yield, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software and able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Able to lead a team and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and shop-floor environment.
