Job summary

TERA Data Centers is seeking a senior regulatory affairs lead to own licenses, permits, registrations and approvals across Indonesia. You will craft a regulatory roadmap for each data center campus, engage with government authorities, and ensure timely, compliant delivery within complex projects.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in a relevant field and 5+ years of Indonesian regulatory experience, including OSS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Law, Business, Public Policy, Engineering or relevant field.
• 5+ years’ regulatory, licensing, permitting or compliance experience in Indonesia.
• Hands-on experience managing license/permit applications with government authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian licensing processes, including OSS.
• Strong project management, documentation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; willing to travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate regulatory requirements into clear actions and milestones.
• Integrate permit milestones into project schedules and manage regulatory risks.
• Maintain trackers and **es**calate schedule-critical issues.

COORDINATE REGULATORY EXECUTION

• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, PM, Operations, Legal and other teams.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate practical implications.
• Ensure ethical, compliant regulatory interactions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, Engineering or relevant field.
• 5+ years’ relevant regulatory, licensing, permitting or compliance experience in Indonesia.
• Hands-on experience managing license/permit applications with government authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian licensing processes, including OSS.
• Strong project management, documentation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; willing to travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in data centers, telecommunications, power, infrastructure, construction, industrial estates, manufacturing or energy.
• Experience managing regulatory requirements across multiple projects/campuses.
• Able to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous and resource-constrained environments.
• Mandarin proficiency is helpful but not required.
