Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle Bogor factory is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to maintain QMS and food safety programs, ensuring ISO/FSSC compliance and CAPA processes across the plant.

The role requires coordinating audits, supplier assessments, and traceability to uphold product quality, while driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Industrial Technology preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Management within manufacturing.
• Certified in FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of QMS, Food Safety Systems, HACCP, GMP, Halal requirements and allergen management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the implementation of Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System across the factory.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits (GMP, ISO, Halal) and manage CAPA with relevant departments.
• Conduct supplier and RDC audits as per annual plan and ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Develop, review, and control all QMS documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate changes in QMS across cross-functional teams and ensure adherence.
• Monitor quality KPIs, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement and risk management.
• Perform root cause analyses for non-conformities and verify CAPA effectiveness.
• Oversee product traceability and verify regulatory and quality requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintaining the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS):
• Maintain the implementation of Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System throughout the factory.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Group Quality procedures, and customer requirements.
• Support internal and external audits (e.g., GMP, ISO, Halal), coordinate with relevant departments on Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and ensure complete documentation of all corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct supplier (new and existing) and RDC audits according to the annual audit plan and coordinate with relevant functions to ensure timely completion of CAPA.
• Develop, review, maintain, and control all QMS documentation to ensure its accuracy, validity, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Ensure all QMS-related changes are effectively communicated and implemented across relevant cross-functional teams.
• Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet defined quality standard:
• Implement, monitor, and ensure compliance of Group Quality policies, guidelines, systems and best practices.
• Verify the effectiveness of GMP, CCP, OPRP, and other critical process parameters through routine audits.
• Manage and verify product traceability throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with QFS standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and risk management initiatives to enhance product quality performance:
• Monitor quality KPI’s, identify the trends, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the validation and implementation of process improvement initiatives by assessing their effectiveness, mitigating quality risks, and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety requirements.
• Perform risk assessments for products, processes, and other changes, and implement mitigation plans to minimize QFS risk.
• Investigate for critical and major non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate the implementation of appropriate CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with standards and requirements:
• Monitor supplier performance, manage supplier CAPA, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with relevant functions to investigate consumer and customer complaints.
• Drive strong employee engagement to strengthen the quality and food safety culture:
• Conduct regular refreshment training to reinforce Quality Standard, GMP, Personal Hygiene, and Food Safety requirements.
• Conduct a minimum of two employee engagement activities annually with participation from all relevant functions, including shop floor personnel
• Encourage employees to report quality issues and identify improvement opportunities through the QBO platform.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, a degree in Food Technology or or Industrial Technology is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Certified in FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management System, Food Safety Systems, Personal Hygiene, HACCP/Food Safety, GMP, Halal Requirements, Environmental Impact & Pollution Control, 5S, Quality Systems, Allergen Management, and Safety Systems.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Good understanding of local regulation and relevant international standards.
