Job summary

Akar Inti Teknologi (AIT) is seeking a QA Analyst (Dedicated) to ensure top-notch software quality across products and systems. You will design test plans, execute cases, analyze defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA, strong QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC knowledge, and experience with JIRA and Xray. ISO 8583 expertise is mandatory; fintech experience is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in CS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience/certifications.
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with SDLC and STLC processes.
• Meticulous in writing clear test plans and test cases.
• Experience with JIRA and Xray for defect tracking and test management.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583 framework (Mandatory).
• Fintech or finance domain experience is a plus.

About the Role:

As a QA Analyst (Dedicated), you will do quality assurance efforts to guarantee the delivery of top-notch software products, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of software, products, and systems. You will ensure that products or services meet the standards set by the company or the client. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements, create test plans, and conduct test cases.

Job Descriptions:

• Ability to effectively analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop improved solutions.


• Oversee the defect life cycle, including identifying, reporting, resolving, and validating defects, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.


• Perform evaluation and enhancement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices, and guide their implementation across the team.


• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to align on quality objectives, strategies, and priorities.


• Have a comprehensive understanding of the product, including its features, functionalities, and intended use.


• Excellent communication skills and a receptive attitude are key attributes for this position.


• Perform service development in accordance with the requirements of the client.


• Follow standards development from client.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience or certifications/courses, is required.


• Must have at least 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.


• Proficient understanding of the company's products & services.


• Strong experience in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.


• Experienced with SDLC Software Development Life Cycle methods.


• Experienced with STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).


• Meticulous in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.


• Experienced in Management testing tools (JIRA,Xray, Etc.).


• Experienced in ISO 8583 framework. (Mandatory)


• Experienced in T24 is a plus


• Familiarity with Card Payment process.


• Prior experience in Fintech or Finance would be a plus.
