Job summary

Arbeit Group in Jakarta is seeking an experienced QC / Software Tester to join a strategic banking project. You will prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, scripts, and data, and perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure product quality.

The role requires at least 5 years in QC/QA or Software Testing, strong STLC/SDLC understanding, and hands-on experience with testing types and tools such as JIRA and TestRail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in QC/QA or software testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Experience with test planning, execution, defect management, and UAT support.
• Hands-on testing: functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT.
• Experience using JIRA, TestRail or similar tools; API testing a plus.
• Basic to intermediate SQL and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, and regression testing; support UAT.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with BAs, devs, PMs, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project discussions.

You will be responsible for preparing and executing comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts while performing functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure product quality.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data

Perform Functional, Integration, System, and regression testing, and support UAT activities

Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the software development lifecycle

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality

Execute testing activities and provide detailed testing reports

Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement

Participate in Agile ceremonies and project discussions

About you

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), or Software Testing

Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC

Experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and UAT support

Hands-on experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Experience using JIRA, TestRail, or similar testing/reporting tools

Understanding of API Testing (Postman experience is a plus)

Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation

Good command of English, both written and verbal

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
