Job summary

PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance engineer with a strong focus on test automation. The ideal candidate will lead regression testing across WEB, API, and database sources, and oversee automation for mobile, web, and backend systems.

A solid understanding of Agile release processes and scripting in Java or Python is required. Candidates should be proficient with SQL, Jira, and API tools (SoapUI, Postman, JMeter).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Electrical, Economic, Management or Engineering.
• 5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Min. 2 years in Test Automation projects focusing on regression testing for WEB, API, and Database.
• Experience leading across Mobile Apps, Web, Front End, and Back End systems.
• Understanding of Agile release processes and testing automation concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL querying and in test management tools (JIRA).
• Automation scripting with Java or Python; APIs using SOAP UI, POSTMAN, or J-METER.

Responsibilities

• Lead regression test automation for web, API, and database sources.
• Coordinate testing across mobile, web, frontend and backend applications.
• Maintain and configure Allure reports with step and scenario tagging; include evidence.

Job description

Bachelor’s degree from Informatics, Electrical, Economic, Management, Engineering

Has 5 years professional experience in Software Quality Assurance

Min. 2 years professional experience in Test Automation projects within scope: Regression Test (WEB, API, Database), each data source have their own regression set

Experience leading for various types of applications (Mobile Apps, Web, Front End and Back End System)

Understanding of software release process, particularly Agile methodologies

Understanding of testing automation, scripting, regression testing and commonly used tools

SQL Query

Test Management Tools (Bug Tracker, JIRA)

Programming Language for Automation tester, Java and Python preferred

API Integration (SOAP UI, POSTMAN, J-METER)

Framework preferred: Playwright (Python), Pytest, Allure

Report: Allure using tagging for test step and scenario, include screenshot evidence (preferable in docx format), report should have configuration that easy to maintain

Documentation: Project Structure, User Guideline (setup, execution)

Note:

Willing to handle insurance project

Willing to work onsite (Full WFO) in Kuningan, South Jakarta
