PT. Multi Arta Lestari is looking for a Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage project-based buying and ensure timely delivery of materials. You will create POs, follow up approvals, and coordinate with suppliers to meet specifications and delivery schedules.

This role involves creating Purchase Orders and following up on approval processes, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of items in good condition according to specifications, and managing purchasing activities for project-based procurement.
Key responsibilities
Create Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on approval processes
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to ensure the right items are delivered on time, in good condition, and according to specifications
Coordinate with relevant unit teams to ensure smooth receiving and inspection of purchased items
Source and evaluate alternative suppliers/vendors; negotiate and analyze quotations based on specifications, lead time, Terms of Payment (TOP), and pricing
Monitor supplier performance and maintain good relationships with suppliers/vendors
Coordinate purchasing activities for project-based procurement, including material availability and delivery timelines
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers regarding imported materials and support the purchasing process when required
About you
Bachelor's degree in any field; Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related fields are preferred
At least 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably with experience in project purchasing
Experience in industrial materials, manufacturing, steel/metal, industrial material imports, fiber optics, or related industries is preferred
Good understanding of the purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, PO processing, delivery follow-up, and supplier evaluation
Knowledge of import purchasing and import processes is an advantage
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, especially for communication with overseas suppliers
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain good supplier relationships
Honest, responsible, and trustworthy in handling purchasing activities and supplier relationships
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external parties
