Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field.
• 5+ years in Purchasing; leading a team is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, detail, and calculation skills.
• Independent, reliable with strong communication & negotiation.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; English skills; Mandarin/Hokkien a plus.
• Physically and mentally healthy; owns a vehicle and based in Medan.

Responsibilities

• Ensure goods purchasing process runs smoothly for sales stock needs (retail & distribution).
• Prepare and supervise purchase requests (PR) up to the creation of POs and follow up with suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timeliness with suppliers.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and sales team to ensure the availability and smooth circulation of goods.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations.
• Manage the purchasing overall process and distribute tasks effectively.
• Handle the process of returning goods to the supplier in case of discrepancies.
• Prepare periodic purchase reports for management.

• Minimum 5+ years experiences in Purchasing, having experience to lead a team of purchasing is a plus
• Having strong knowledge of purchasing procedures and regulations
• Having strong analytical, detail, and calculation skills
• Independent, reliable, has good communication and negotiation skills, and can solve problems encountered at work
• Has strong computer skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint programs
• Good English proficiency: being able to communicate in Mandarin or Hokkien dialect is a plus
• Physically and mentally healthy
• Owns a vehicle and domicile in Medan, North Sumatra
