Job summary

PT Imaji Nata Kirana in Bekasi is seeking an experienced Buyer responsible for import purchasing and overseas supplier coordination. The role involves negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and ensuring timely imports while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years in purchasing with hands-on import experience, and are proficient in English and Excel to analyze costs and manage procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major, preferably Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience with hands-on import purchasing.
• Familiar with import procedures, documentation, and regulations.
• Experience sourcing overseas suppliers and negotiating prices and terms.
• Able to coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle local purchasing and maintain supplier relationships.
• Compare supplier quotations and analyze total purchasing costs including import-related costs.
• Communicate in English with overseas suppliers and internal teams.
• Utilize MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
