Job summary

ADI is hiring for a Purchasing Specialist (Mandarin) based in Jakarta, with on-site work from PIK. The role focuses on sourcing goods, evaluating offers, and ensuring timely, quality purchases across the company.

You will build vendor lists, secure quotations, negotiate terms, monitor payments, and maintain strong supplier relationships while coordinating with management for approvals and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Management/Supply Chain or related field.
• 1–2 years purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation and networking skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of goods/services needed by all members of the company.
• Compile a list of vendors providing goods/services.
• Contact suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations/pricing offers.
• Analyze offers (price, features, services, etc.).
• Ensure all purchases are approved by management.
• Ensure that goods arrive in good condition and on time.
• Mediate payments and ensure timely payments.
• Check the quality of goods/services according to the sales contract.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors.

ADI is hiring for our client, a big company specializing in Food & Beverage. Just started a sister company with a business in the Retail Industry, they focused on developing this retail business into these big corporations. This a company operating in the restaurant sector with a Japanese food concept and menu.

Job Responsibilities:

• Compile a list of goods/services needed by all members of the company.
• Compile a list of vendors providing goods/services.
• Contact suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations/pricing offers.
• Analyze offers (price, features, services, etc.).
• Ensure all purchases are approved by management.

Job Requirements:

• Female, maximum age 40 years
• Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree in Business/Management/Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields.
• Experience in purchasing with minimum 1-2 years of experience
• Strong negotiation and networking skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin.
