Job summary

PT Sen Karya Cemerlang seeks an Import Procurement professional to manage the full overseas purchasing cycle, from supplier sourcing through to goods arrival at the local warehouse. You will coordinate with international vendors on stock, specs, and purchase quantities, and negotiate prices to protect margins.

The role requires Mandarin (HSK) proficiency and knowledge of import procedures. You will also handle PO creation, shipment tracking, and monthly procurement reporting, ensuring accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Management, Logistics, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably with import handling.
• HSK Mandarin required for correspondence with overseas vendors.
• Familiar with import procedures and international trade documents.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to compare prices.
• Detail-oriented with data and purchasing docs.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for data management and order tracking.
• Able to work under deadlines and coordinate with warehouse and finance teams.
• Responsive to shipment issues or vendor discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overseas purchasing process from supplier sourcing to delivery to local warehouse.
• Coordinate with international vendors on stock, specs, and purchase quantities.
• Negotiate prices to secure best offers and protect margins.
• Prepare and verify import documents to ensure smooth customs clearance.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders and monitor order status to delivery.
• Track overseas shipments and liaise with logistics for ETA.
• Source alternative vendors to ensure stock continuity and cost efficiency.
• Prepare monthly purchasing reports and monitor vendor price histories.
