The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 3+ years EPC experience, strong AutoCAD/SketchUp skills, knowledge of Tekla/ETABS/SAP2000 or Primavera P6, and fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Proposal & Project Delivery (Civil) Engineer

PT. Mitra Karya Sarana (MKS) is a growing company specializing in Steel Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC). We are seeking dedicated, highly motivated, and qualified professionals to join our team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - preferably specialization in Building Engineering (Building Construction/ Structural Engineering).

Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects, preferably within EPC Project, industrial, commercial, or Manufacturing facilities.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other engineering software. Experience with Tekla, ETABS, SAP2000, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, or equivalent software is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, building construction methods, foundation systems, and finishing works.

Good understanding of project cost calculation, cost estimation/ budget analysis, and the preparation of technical and commercial proposal/tender documents.

Good understanding of engineering standards, construction regulations, quality control, and safety requirements.

Able to review and interpret engineering drawings, structural calculations, technical specifications, BOQ, and quantity take-off (QTO).

Proven ability to lead technical coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Demonstrates integrity, accountability, a proactive mindset, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Candidates currently residing in Batam, Riau Islands, are highly preferred. Candidates from outside Batam must be willing to relocate to Batam.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee civil engineering activities for building construction projects, from planning, design, and proposal stages through project execution and completion.

Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to provide technical solutions, engineering support, and inputs for tender/proposal preparation, including technical presentations and client requirements.

Prepare and review engineering drawings, structural calculations, shop drawings, material specifications, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.

Prepare and evaluate QTO, BOQ, cost calculations, technical estimates, and project budgets to support tendering, project planning, and cost efficiency.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, conduct site inspections, and monitor quality, safety, progress, and schedule compliance.

Identify technical and constructability risks and provide practical engineering solutions to optimize project quality, cost, constructability, and delivery timelines.
