Job summary

Syntek Energy & Control is seeking a Junior Proposal Engineer in Jakarta. The role focuses on converting RFQ into technical designs, performing site surveys, and delivering timely technical and commercial proposals to support bids and project execution.

The candidate will liaise with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management, assist in tender documentation, and may manage subcontractors. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this hands-on role in a fast-paced EPC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1 year of civil engineering experience preferred, otherwise entry-level accepted.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with ETABS and AutoCAD.
• Detail-oriented with ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Junior Proposal Engineer

Scope of Work :

• Interpreting RFQ from customer into technical design and engineering.
• Performs site surveys to develop base design and installation plans.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal on time based on deadline from customer.
• Support preparation of all necessary bidding documentation.
• Liaise between Sales, Engineering, and Project Management Department.
• Support Sales to establish, develop, and maintain relationships with customers.
• Support Sales in tender negotiation and contract terms.
• Support Engineering Division to perform civil engineering calculation and analysis.
• Create BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for tender and project execution purpose.
• Supporting internal team work method development.
• May manage respective vendors or subcontractors.
• Reporting to Proposal Engineer Assistant Manager.

Requirements :

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from reputable university with majoring in Civil Engineering is a MUST
• Minimum 1 year working experience as Civil Engineer
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Familiar with Ms. Office
• Have a good competence in Ms. Excel
• Have a competence in using ETABS
• Familiar with AutoCAD
• Have an attention to details
• Have ability to read engineering drawings
• Ready to work overtime if necessary
