Job summary

Proworker is seeking a Service Engineer to handle service, maintenance and commissioning of engineering systems at project sites and field locations. The role includes installation, testing and regular maintenance in line with standards and company procedures.

Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.

The role involves installation, testing, and maintenance of systems according to technical standards and company procedures, with coordination across internal teams, customers, vendors, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of engineering systems at project/site areas
• Execute installation, testing, and maintenance of systems in accordance with technical standards and company procedures
• Conduct field inspections, problem analysis, and provide technical solutions for system disruptions
• Create work reports, technical documentation, and project/service progress reports
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and contractors in the field
• Support project execution from engineering, installation, testing through handover to customer
• Develop work timelines and monitor progress using MS Project
• Ensure work is completed according to target timelines, quality standards, and occupational safety requirements
• Undertake official travel and field work for extended periods as required

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Project Engineer, Service Engineer, or Field Engineer
• Experience in project engineering, installation, maintenance, and system troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning and work monitoring
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reports and documentation
• Ability to read drawings, understand technical installation procedures, and analyse field problems
• Experience with Fire Suppression System installation or maintenance is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capability to produce technical reports and work documentation
