About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our construction team. This is a full-time position based in Semarang, Central Java. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is crucial to our operations and will directly impact our reputation and growth in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

Planning and scheduling project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery

Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution

Monitoring project progress and identifying risks or delays; implementing corrective measures as needed

Managing project budgets, controlling costs, and preparing accurate financial reports and forecasts

Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards on site

Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address concerns

Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain construction standards

Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and correspondence

Managing procurement of materials and equipment whilst maintaining quality and cost efficiency

Leading and motivating project teams, including resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in construction project management

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously with varying complexities

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations

Excellent proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Primavera)

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and control project costs

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate construction teams

Problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Experience with quality assurance and compliance management

Preferably, certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent credentials

Knowledge of local regulations and construction practices in Indonesia is advantageous
