About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Construction Manager to join PT Inti Citra Agung (Optik Melawai) in Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects from conception through to completion. As Project Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to our company's success and directly impacts our reputation and financial performance in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Planning, coordinating and overseeing all construction activities on assigned projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
• Managing project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, whilst maintaining effective communication and collaboration
• Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on all construction sites
• Preparing and maintaining detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports and quality records
• Managing project budgets and expenditures, controlling costs and ensuring financial accountability
• Conducting regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications and drawings
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to address concerns and manage expectations
• Resolving construction-related issues and disputes promptly and professionally
• Maintaining accurate records of project metrics, change orders and contractual documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management within the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from planning through completion
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices
• Excellent project management skills with proficiency in scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and team members
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Valid driving licence and willingness to spend time on construction sites
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (both spoken and written)
