Hexagon is seeking an IMS Support Engineer to deliver competency training and proactive technical support for drilling optimisation, radar solutions, and integrated machine systems. The role combines remote support with regular on-site work at customer sites, including travel from Balikpapan.

You will work with engineering teams to scope, test, and launch new products, while maintaining documentation and quality standards across projects.

Qualificações

• Background in Engineering or field installation of electrical, networks or communication technology ideally in mining or heavy industrial facilities.
• Prior experience within a mining operations working with OT technology would be desirable.
• Prior experience in training and partnering with customer on Technology deployment or operational output.
• Ability to build cohesive relationship across a diverse customer and stakeholder group.

The Position

The purpose of the IMS Support Engineer role is to effectively deliver competency training and value education to all relevant stakeholders for Hexagon's Drilling optimisation, Radar Solutions and Integrated Machine Systems products, systems, and services. Providing customers with ongoing and proactive technical support and advice through regular communication and system oversight, while maintaining high product, safety, environmental, and quality standards. This role will primarily provide remote support to our client base.

Role focus:

This is a customer- and project-facing role supporting Hexagon technology deployments across underground mining operations and different customer sites. You will take a hands-on role in installation, implementation, training and operational delivery, working directly with customers on site to ensure projects are successfully delivered.

This position will see you work at our head office in Balikpapan with regular travel to our customer site, to support installation, training and operational guidance. All travel and accommodation to customer sites will be provided by business and may include travel time of 3-14 days on site as per customer requirement

In addition but not limited to the following responsibilities.

• Provide product and service implementation, competency training, and value education to stakeholders, face-to-face and remotely.
• Provide customers with ongoing and proactive technical support and advice through regular communication and system oversight.
• Provide technical support/guidance to other Hexagon business units/teams. Work with engineering and development teams to scope, test, and launch new products and features.
• Maintain, enhance, and adhere to Hexagon and client documentation and reporting standards, systems, processes, policies, and procedures, participating in audits when required.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control checks on products before they are assigned and delivered to site. present recommendations for continuous improvements and modifications, actioning them as necessary
