Job summary

Hexagon Mining is seeking an experienced Power Apps developer to join our APAC team in Balikpapan, Indonesia. The role covers administration, development, and governance of critical business platforms for our Service & Support teams.

You will design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions, administer Dataverse, and contribute to governance, training, and rollout across global regions. Relocation may be required for candidates outside Balikpapan.

Qualifications

• Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600) preferred.
• Experience developing Power Apps Platform for global regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem integrations (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge management systems experience in a global operation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary support for Discovery App and AKMS platforms.
• Design, develop, and enhance Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
• Administer Dataverse data models and metadata structure.

The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital, we are seeing to recruit a Global Services Platform 8 Support or our APAC region. Based in Balikpapan, Indonesia this role will join a global team, responsible for the administration, development and governance of critical business platforms for our Service & Support teams.

As global representative your role will be broad covering a range of duties inclusive of user administration support and training, governance, and compliance, data integrity, application development & release management plus a range of other duties that will evolve as our business continues to grow. Your role will be to align global solutions, alongside compliance and strategy whilst supporting in region business requirements ensuring alignment cohesion is delivered across all requirements.

Duties may include, but not limited to;

• Serve as the primary support of the Discovery App and AKMS platforms.
• Manage Discovery App configuration and business rules.
• Design, develop, and enhance Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
• Administer AKMS content structure, taxonomy, and metadata.
• Maintain Dataverse data models and relationships.
• Develop training materials and user documentation.

As part of a globally distributed team, this role requires a high level of autonomy and self-direction. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, manage priorities, and drive initiatives independently while collaborating across time zones and cultures.

Please note if you are not in Balikpapan it would require a relocation to region to work within our Head Office and Indonesian Support Centre

About You

We are looking for an experienced Power App developer/Software Developer with a background in supporting business on the administration of enterprise business applications, ideally form initial concept through to roll out and end user support.

Technical

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 preferred), would be desirable
• Prior experience developing Power Apps Platform for global regions
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 preferred), would be desirable
• Experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including integrations with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and Excel
• Prior experience working with knowledge management systems within a global operation would be desirable
• Experience in working with Microsoft Dataverse or SQl, from table design through to data modelling
• Background in power app development ideally across front end and back end development support

Operational

• Prior experience working in engineering, mining or project delivery desirable not essential
• Ability to operate independently, maintain accountability, and deliver outcomes to the required standard
• Ability to build cohesive and collaborative relationships in a global cross functional stakeholder group
• Proven success in collaborating in a customer centric, solution focused engagement
• Strong English skill both written and verbal, to support working with a global workforce
