Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Senior Project Director to lead a flagship hotel development in Jakarta. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with designs and quality standards, coordinating with Owner, Operator, consultants and contractors.

This role requires at least 15 years in project management, with 10 in senior positions, and proven experience on major 5-star hotel projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience with at least 10 years in senior project management.
• Experience on at least two completed 4-5-star hotel projects, preferably 5-star.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with excellent English communication.
• Willing to be based in Jakarta and work on-site.

Job description

Lead and direct the overall execution of the hotel project to achieve the required quality, cost and schedule targets. This role requires managing and overseeing project planning, schedules, progress, budgets and resource requirements, while coordinating with the Owner, Hotel Operator, Consultants, Architects, Contractors, Procurement, Design, QS and other relevant stakeholders. You will ensure project execution complies with approved designs, specifications, quality standards and established project requirements, and lead the project through completion, testing & commissioning and handover, working closely with the Hotel Operator and Pre-Opening Team through hotel opening.

Key responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the project team to ensure effective and productive project execution

Manage and monitor the project budget, cost control, procurement, variation orders and resource utilization

Monitor project progress and ensure all milestones are achieved according to target

Identify project risks, constraints and potential delays, and ensure appropriate mitigation and solutions are implemented

Lead the coordination and resolution of technical and operational issues during project execution

Monitor the performance of contractors, consultants, vendors and the project team

Ensure the project meets quality, safety, budget and timeline requirements

Prepare and present regular project progress reports to Management/Owner, including early escalation of critical issues

Develop strategies and action plans to ensure project completion targets are achieved

Lead the project through completion, testing & commissioning and handover

Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in senior project management positions

Minimum 2 completed 4-5-star hotel projects, preferably 5-star, covering the project lifecycle from tender/design development through hotel opening

Strong understanding of design, construction, procurement, project planning, cost control, QS and project delivery

Proven strength in cost, time, quality and risk management, including contract and variation management

Proven ability to manage multiple consultants and contractors simultaneously

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication (including English), negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Strong reporting capability to the Owner / Board

Experience working directly with international hotel operators or hospitality brands

Willing to be based in Jakarta and work at the project site as required
