Tasblock is seeking a Project Controller in Indonesia to oversee audits, quality control and schedule compliance for public infrastructure installations. You will monitor field progress, enforce standards, and drive improvement across teams.
Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of hands-on experience in project auditing or site management, with strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills and travel willingness across urban sites in Indonesia.
The Project Controller is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and controlling the execution and quality of all product installations in urban spaces and public facility projects (e.g., sidewalks, parks, stations, terminals, airports, pedestrian zones, sub-district gates). This role acts as the primary quality and schedule auditor—ensuring that final products are installed safely, accurately, on time, and with minimal to no customer complaints. Additionally, the Project Controller continuously evaluates field performance and post-project outcomes to recommend operational improvements aimed at achieving service excellence.
Key responsibilities
Conduct systematic field audits and progress tracking across all active installation sites from commencement to final sign-off
Compare actual site progress against project baselines/schedules; proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective action plans
Inspect site preparations, mounting, anchoring, and final finishing of manufactured products to guarantee compliance with engineering standards and client specifications
Perform thorough quality inspections before official client handovers to ensure zero defects and eliminate post-installation complaints
Investigate customer complaints or site non-conformities, identify root causes, and propose immediate corrective and preventive measures
Evaluate current site installation practices, factory-to-site workflows, and handoff protocols to drive continuous improvement in service delivery
Provide real-time progress, risk, and audit reports directly to the General Manager and Board of Directors
Flag technical, safety, or timeline risks early to prevent cost overruns or damage to the company's reputation on public infrastructure projects
Coordinate closely with Sales Engineers to understand client requirements, design nuances, and contract scope before site execution
Collaborate with factory production, logistics, and site installation crews to ensure seamless product delivery and installation schedules
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field

Excellent ability to evaluate workflows, spot operational bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Ability to maintain firm quality standards while coordinating productively with field crews, sales engineers, and clients
