Job summary

PT Loka Abadi Sentausa in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Pelaksana Lapangan (Field Supervisor & Engineer) to oversee on-site operations, manage construction teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 2+ years as a field supervisor or site engineer, and strong leadership with proficiency in English and Indonesian. Knowledge of conventional and digital reporting tools is preferred.

About the role

PT Loka Abadi Sentausa is seeking an experienced Pelaksana Lapangan (Field Supervisor & Engineer) to join our construction team in Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects. As Field Supervisor & Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations, managing construction teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position is strategically important to our company's ability to deliver high-quality construction services and maintain our reputation for excellence in the Jakarta market.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring all work complies with project specifications and safety standards

Manage and coordinate construction teams, including workers, main contractors, and specialists to ensure efficient workflow and productivity

Monitor project progress against scheduled timelines and take corrective action to ensure on-time delivery

Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans to guide field operations

Document daily site activities, progress reports, and maintain accurate records of work completed

Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements

Manage budget allocation for materials, labor and equipment on assigned projects

Communicate regularly with project management, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status and issues

Identify potential risks and problems on-site and implement solutions promptly

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience as a field supervisor or site engineer in the construction industry; experience in concrete flooring preferable

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from start to completion

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations in Indonesia

Excellent leadership, discipline, and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications

Strong communication skills in Indonesian and English (both written and verbal)

Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling, budget control (include RAB/RAP calculation), project administration, on-site material estimation, and stakeholder communication.

Valid driving licenses (SIM A & SIM C) and comfortable with site-based full-time across different locations based on project requirements

Preferably certified in occupational health and safety (K3) certification

Experience with relevant construction software and digital reporting tools (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, SketchUp)
