Job summary

Tripatra seeks a Project Controller to join the Area Project team at JPK with 6–15 years in project controls, scheduling, and cost management. You will drive schedules, budgets, and risk-focused reports.

You will coordinate with construction contractors and internal teams to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery and robust performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or equivalent with 6+ years in project planning and controls.
  • D3 with 10+ years acceptable for equivalent responsibilities.
  • Experience as Project Controller, Scheduler, or Planner in oil & gas, petrochemical, civil construction, mining, geothermal, or power projects.
  • Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare and update project plans with WBS and critical path analysis.
  • Monitor performance against schedule and budget, identify risks and variances.
  • Prepare monthly project controls reports including accruals.
  • Coordinate with Company teams and Contractors for planning and reporting.
  • Assist Contractors in developing and maintaining cost control systems.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and related activities.
  • Support Lead Project Controller in lifecycle planning and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Applied Bachelor's Degree (D4) in Engineering, Science, Economics, Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at least 6 years of experience, or Diploma (D3) with at least 10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and project controls.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Controller, Cost Controller, Scheduler, or Planner on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Civil Construction (Roads/High-rise Buildings/Bridges), Mining, Geothermal, or Power Generation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls principles, including planning and scheduling, cost estimation, cost control, progress measurement, forecasting, and project reporting.
  • Good understanding of construction execution, project scheduling methodologies, and project control standards and best practices.
  • Proficient in project controls software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling, Cost Control, or related disciplines will be an advantage and may be required based on project needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and update project plans, including resource-loaded schedules, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), critical path analysis, and project progress tracking.
  • Monitor project performance against schedule, budget, and scope, and identify risks, variances, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare regular project controls reports, including cost, schedule, progress, forecasting, and monthly accrual reports.
  • Support the development and implementation of project controls processes, procedures, and best practices for planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Coordinate with Company teams and Construction Contractors to ensure accurate project planning, reporting, and performance measurement.
  • Assist Construction Contractors in developing and maintaining effective planning, scheduling, and cost control systems.
  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, equipment certification, project management, and other project-related activities.
  • Report to and support the Lead Project Controller in managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
