Job summary

BINA NUSANTARA in Indonesia seeks an experienced Partnerships Specialist to develop collaborations with Chinese universities, institutions, and industries. You will manage proposals, MoUs, and program implementation while ensuring compliance with institutional standards.

Ideal candidates have Mandarin proficiency, strong cross-cultural communication, and at least 2 years in senior roles or 4 years in related fields. This role focuses on China partnerships and strategic expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in senior staff or 4+ years in related roles.
• Knowledge of China higher education ecosystem.
• Strong Mandarin proficiency, written and spoken.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop collaboration opportunities with universities, institutions, industries in China.
• Track proposals, deadlines, and partner plans for China region initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, grants reports, and partnership documents for China.
• Develop partnerships and programs with stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain relationships with Chinese partners for sustainable collaborations.
• Conduct market analysis and partner mapping for China region.
• Coordinate MoU/MoA processes with Chinese partners.
• Update databases and documentation on China partnerships.
• Help marketing create materials for China-focused initiatives.
• Evaluate collaboration performance and generate analytical reports.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, initiate, and develop potential collaboration opportunities with universities, institutions, industries, and relevant organizations in China.
• Maintain follow up and progress on related collaboration programs, including tracking proposal submissions, reporting deadlines, and partnership work plans related to China region initiatives.
• Prepare and provide comprehensive proposal packages, grant reports, and partnership documentation to partners and potential partners in China.
• Develop proposal, partnership agreements, and program implementation while ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and compliance with institutional standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Chinese partners to ensure sustainable and mutually beneficial collaborations.
• Conduct partnership mapping and market analysis for China region to support strategic expansion initiatives.
• Facilitate communication, meetings, visits, and negotiation processes, including MoU/MoA coordination with Chinese partners.
• Maintain and update accurate databases and documentation related to China partnerships, including agreements, contacts, activities, and related records (hard copy and electronic files).
• Collaborate with marketing and relevant units to develop promotional materials and marketing communication kits to support China-focused collaboration initiatives.
• Evaluate collaboration performance and prepare analytical reports and recommendations to enhance partnership effectiveness and program sustainability.

Management Support Activities

• Provide Report to direct Supervisor.
• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost).
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System.
• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor.

Education Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1)

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years working experience in Senior Staff, or
• Minimum 4 years working experience

Special Skills

• Knowledge of China higher education ecosystem
• Mandarin proficiency (written and spoken)
• Cross-cultural communication skills
