Job summary

PZ Cussons Indonesia is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead daily operations, driving safety, quality and efficiency. You will manage and develop production teams, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to schedules and standards across the line.

You will coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Engineering to optimise throughput and lean practices, ensuring consistent product quality and optimal utilization of resources in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or production operations, including leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001/K3 standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and team management skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to plan, organize, and drive execution effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily production activities in line with the production plan.
• Ensure production output targets are achieved in accordance with company standards.
• Optimize the use of manpower, materials, machinery, and production time.
• Identify and resolve issues that may impact production performance.
• Implement initiatives to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Analyze downtime, production losses, and process bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement programs, including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM.
• Ensure all products meet established quality standards.
• Work closely with the Quality team to address non-conformances.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all production activities comply with company safety standards and regulations.
• Promote and monitor safe working practices across the production area.
• Participate in incident investigations and improvement initiatives.
• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve departmental objectives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team capability and performance.
• Manage workforce planning, performance reviews, and employee discipline.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Monitor production KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, and Engineering teams.
