Job summary

Valeo in Batam is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead APZ operations, manage inductions, plan training, and drive continuous improvement. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to standards while coordinating with the APU Manager and other functions to meet production targets.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in supervision, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage teams in a shift-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of production management, lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Willing to work in a shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage people: induction of newcomers, training planning, and performance boards.
• Maintain standards: enforce health, safety, environmental, and site rules; update working instructions.
• Manage production: plan headcounts, ensure SQCDM targets, coordinate with Supply Chain for MPS.
• Manage Continuous Improvement: lead improvement plans, participate in QA and TPM initiatives, and drive 5S and Kaizen.
• Prepare reports for site KPI boards and support functions as needed.
