Geekhunter is seeking a senior Production Manager for a leading tire manufacturer in Indonesia, based in Citeureup, Bogor. You will oversee the entire tire production lifecycle from planning to delivery, driving lean initiatives and budget controls.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven problem solving, and a deep commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across procurement, QC, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years in production management, preferably within the tire manufacturing sector.
• On-site in Citeureup, Bogor Regency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and drive results across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Budget oversight, cost optimization, time management, and handling multiple priorities.

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading tire manufacturer in Indonesia. Founded in 1996, the company operates a factory near a mountainside in Citeureup, Bogor, covering 208,000 sqm. They produce a range of high-performance passenger car radial tires, light truck radial tires, and truck and bus conventional tires. Job Responsibilities

• End-to-End Operations: Oversee the complete tire manufacturing lifecycle, from initial planning through to final product delivery.

• Strategic Planning & Efficiency: Create and execute production strategies that optimize output, eliminate waste, and apply lean manufacturing principles.

• Performance & Targets: Drive operations to consistently meet output goals, quality standards, and cost-efficiency metrics.

• Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Evaluate production metrics to spot inefficiencies, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive solutions.

• Team Leadership & Development: Direct supervisors and operators through continuous coaching, performance reviews, and training to build a culture of constant improvement.

• Compliance & Safety: Enforce full adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with procurement, quality control, and maintenance teams to maintain seamless daily operations and inventory flow.

• Financial Management: Build and oversee the production budget to ensure strict cost control.

• Equipment & Inventory Upkeep: Manage machinery maintenance to minimize operational downtime and secure the timely supply of raw materials.

• Reporting: Compile and present routine production performance reports for senior management.

Job Requirements

• Experience: At least 15 years in production management, preferably within the tire manufacturing sector.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Leadership & Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and drive results across multi-disciplinary teams.

• Technical & Analytical: Strong critical thinking abilities with deep familiarity in industry regulations and standard practices.

• Safety & Resilience: Dedicated to maintaining high safety standards; calm and responsive when managing high-pressure or emergency situations.
