Key responsibilities
Formulate production plans and oversee overall schedule management for the precision spring factory
Monitor shop floor progress and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent delivery delays and operational disruptions
Control production costs, drive loss-cost reduction initiatives, and execute continuous improvements
Guide, supervise, evaluate, and motivate local operators and subordinates
Provide regular and logical operational and progress reports to executive management
About you
1. Key Requirements & Qualifications
Proven track record as a Production Manager (or Plant Manager) in a metalworking / metal processing manufacturing company
Business-level English proficiency (essential for internal communication and coordination with management)
Highly passionate, dedicated, and driven with a strong professional work ethic
Strict schedule and progress management aligned with production targets
Strong risk hedging/mitigation skills to anticipate and resolve bottlenecks and production issues
Leadership skills to properly manage, mentor, and guide local staff and subordinates
Ability to perform logical, structured, and timely reporting/communication (Ho-Ren-So) to top management
Capability to propose and execute concrete continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
Prior experience working in Japanese companies (strong understanding of Japanese manufacturing methodologies and quality standards)
