Job summary

Saint-Gobain Indonesia in Bekasi seeks an experienced Production/Operations Manager to lead manufacturing excellence. You will implement the organization structure, optimize production methods, monitor scrap and rework, and manage the production budget to drive cost reduction and OTIF delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years in the same role within a multinational manufacturing company.
• Fluent in verbal and written English with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in SAP, technical drawing, machining, maintenance management, Industry 4.0.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, Shopfloor Management and 5S knowledge.
• Understanding of EHS management systems and ISO standards.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the same position within a multinational manufacturing company.
• Fluent in verbal and written English, with excellent communication skills in a multinational and multicultural environment.
• Proficient in SAP system, Technical Drawing, Machining Knowledge, Maintenance Management, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing concepts, Shopfloor Management, and 5S methodology.
• In-depth understanding of EHS Management System, EHS Standards, and EHS Tools.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision across decentralized, cross-functional teams.
• Strong team leadership, change management, interpersonal skills, and a result-focused mindset.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement the best organization structure, efficient production methods, and comprehensive team development.
• Monitor and evaluate Reject & Rework Reports continuously, implementing effective technical solutions to minimize scrap and rework rates.
• Manage the production budget, reduce manufacturing costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure production runs according to the Production Plan to meet Customer Service requirements and achieve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Department to review and approve new developed products and manufacturing processes.
• Guarantee all plant activities comply with ISO 9000, ISO 14001 procedures, and company EHS & 5S policies.
• Partner with the EHS Team to coordinate the Health & Safety System, prevent occupational hazards and accidents, and drive Saint-Gobain EHS policy awareness across all employees.
• Direct, control, and validate reporting lines from subordinate departments while driving training and skill development programs for the team.
