PT IEG Manufacturing Indonesia seeks an experienced Manufacturing Leader to drive end-to-end operations across machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and fulfill client requirements.
The role requires strong knowledge of CNC machining, Lean principles, and cost control, with a track record of improving productivity and on-time delivery in heavy industry settings.
Lead and manage overall manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery. Oversee machining operations, including CNC turning, CNC milling, cutting, fabrication, welding, assembly, and related manufacturing processes. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Store, and Production teams to solve operational issues.
Lead and manage overall manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Develop production plans, capacity planning, manpower allocation, and operational priorities together with PPIC and related departments.
Oversee machining operations, including CNC turning, CNC milling, cutting, fabrication, welding, assembly, and related manufacturing processes.
Monitor daily production performance, productivity, machine utilization, material usage, rejects, rework, and downtime.
Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S/6S, waste reduction, and process optimization.
Ensure manufacturing activities comply with approved drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Lead and develop Production Managers, Supervisors, Engineers, Leaders, and manufacturing personnel.
Control manufacturing costs, including labor, overtime, consumables, material waste, and operational expenses.
Ensure strong implementation of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality requirements across all manufacturing areas.
Prepare and present production performance reports, improvement plans, risks, and corrective actions to management.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in heavy equipment, steel fabrication, machining, shipyard, oil & gas, or similar industries.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or senior production leadership role.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, welding, cutting, assembly, and manufacturing process flow.
Proven experience in production planning, capacity management, productivity improvement, and cost control.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S/6S, OEE, KPI management, and continuous improvement.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Good understanding of Quality Management Systems and manufacturing quality requirements.
